Notes

The Unified Health System (SUS) is a network that brings together public health facilities (health clinics stations, hospitals, laboratories and other entities) responsible for guaranteeing the rights of Brazilian and foreign citizens examination visits, hospitalizations and treatments.

The SUS Card is a personal document that identifies the patient. It bears personal information and data on already performed clinical procedures. The card expedites scheduling of consultations and examinations, access to medicines and monitoring of patients by health professionals.
